Things I Want To Do in HK
Monday, November 1, 2010 @ 7:18 PM
At the end of Novemeber, like literally the 30th, I'm going to HK and China for a long holiday. Woot !!
Sadly, I won't be in Aus for Christmas nor New Years or even my birthday ><"" Or even my ATAR, which i don't mind. Instead i'm happy, no family friends bombarding my parents with questions. hmpft.
Anyway, instead of studying, i sat in bed snuggled under my blankie and with a warm cup of hot chocolate while it poured outside and thought about what i wanted to do in HK and China. Ohh did you know that today's weather is my fave, though i like stormier weather. I love sitting at home in bed, warm, in my fave pjs, with a great book and a nice drink and just relaxing while outside is all grey and rainy. I think its pretty ^^
Anyway i want to:
<3 Catch a random train and just sit on it as it goes around and around. Though not too sure if i want to do this in HK or China since there isn't much scenery except tunnels. Maybe i'll do it on a bus like Hong Ki does in You're Beautiful.
<3 Get off at a random stop, which hopefully has interesting shops or just a nice environment and explore.
<3 Go and spend a year or so at Japan or Korea and work to support myself while i had fun experiencing their culture and learn their language.
<3 Sit at a nice cafe and people watch !!
<3 You know in those HK dramas where they stand at the wharf or at the top of a mountain and scream all the worries they have, at the top of their lungs and then they feel a lot better? I really want to try that. Of course usually they have a hot guy beside them. I wouldn't mind that either. kekek
<3 Step out of my grandma's house with some money and my ipod and just go exploring the city.
<3 Having a deep and meaningful conversation with a random at a nice cafe ^^
<3 Wear one of those cute asian cartoon suits, which look really stuffy and heavy but totally adorable and walk around a busy city and see how people react. ^^
Hm.. that's it.. I'm sure there are more but i don't remember. LOL most of things aren't really for HK and China... Maybe i'll do another one for that... But yes i'm sure i could manage most of these in Sydney though the world is so small in Sydney, the random prob knows one of my friends and HK has a really nice city sky line so i would love to be on the pier at night.

3 commentsThe Ultimate Gift
Wednesday, June 23, 2010 @ 10:29 PM
One of the movies i really want to see is 'The Ultimate Gift' directed by Michael O.Sajbel, which is adapted from the novel The Ultimate Gift by Jim Stovall.

One of the reasons is that is stars the cute Drew Fuller who also played Chris Halliwell within Charmed (teheh memories). Another reason is that from reading reviews ,this movie seems to be quite an inspirational and spiritually enlightening movie.
The plot revolves around Jason Stevens (Drew Fuller) who is a self centered, lazy and rich man. Oh and i think he is a player. His dead grandfather leaves him a series of 'gift challenges' that are designed to bring out the positive qualities within Stevens through 12 difficult life-lessons.
'Jason learns the gift of work, friends, the value of money, the gift of family, laughter, dreams, learning through pain, the gift of giving, gratitude, forgiveness, love and the gift of a perfect day. Ultimately he transforms into a person of depth and moral strength, receiving the "gifts" that his grandfather knew were far more precious than money. With these gifts, Jason can now make the world a better place. ' Extract from a Christian review.
The film, unlike many other American films, condemns the selfish attitude and money centered philosophy that people are driven by today and aims to enlighten the responder by enstilling the following values.
• If you love your work it's not a labor.
l• Money is simply a tool, not a goal.
• True wealth is measured by one's friendships.
• We learn through life's trials, we grow through pain.
• Life's problems teach us how to use good judgment, which in turn teaches us how to avoid life's problems.
• Every family, no matter how dysfunctional, has value.
• Laughter is the soul's medicine.
• Faith can make our dreams realities.
• We gain most when we give ourselves in service to others.
• Gratitude comes from recognizing what we have, not dwelling on the things we lack.
• Living in the present and taking time for the people we cherish, is the formula for a perfect day.
• Love is the greatest treasure. We gain it by giving it away.

To Do List 1#
Saturday, June 5, 2010 @ 9:02 PM
One of the things i need to do while i'm studying hard *nods* (yes very hard) for my HSC is to grow my hair.
I really like Nana (from After School's hair) in the pictures below. I know it's going to be so hard to be able to grow my hair that length and keep it healthy (my hair is so dead now) but i will try. ^^
Sigh and she is so pretty! She looks like a doll, with her flawless skin and perfect figure. I'm so envious ><

I wonder how i would look with blonde hair?? Something tells me not good. xD
