Random Thought-Time

Ok I don't want to sound like a depressed little girl but I just realised we have less than three weeks till uni starts and that excludes O-week.
Sigh that was four months??? Wow does time fly past... I mean my HK/ China trip seemed like ages ago but still.... i've almost been back for a month... Crazy...
When we were children everyday seemed like it lasted forever but now as we grow up each day it seems someone is just pressing the fast forward button and time has sped up once again.
According to Tom Geoghegan who wrote an article for the BBC News Magazine,
"Children are experiencing everything for the first time, all their experiences are new. They also have an amazingly intense vision of the world, an amazing fresh perception. Children are incredibly awake to the world around us, so time passes slowly for them."
Argh i really want time to slow down or at least for me to slow down each day and just stand there and appreciate everything around me.

Wee been back in Sydney for a couple of days now ^^ How's Sydney?? Great~ i've lived here for the past 18 years of my life and summer... has always been my least fave season.
Yes i'm like a vampire. (yes this is just going to be a rant)
Though being away from Sydney has made me realise a feel things I've never picked up.
~ When i first arrived the air smelt heavily of grass... by the time i arrived home i know longer picked it up ^^ tehehe
~ My brother 'kindly' pointed it out to me fifty five billion times in China that Chinese people cannot drive ><"' So I've come to appreciate the traffic conditions in Sydney ^^
~The streets are very empty here :(
~ We don't have enough Haagen Dazs here ><" New Zealand Naturals will have to do ^^ *yummy*
~ lalala Yes I'm bored and im ranting... lalala How are you??? Did you know that the world is round?? I use to compare the world to an orange.. or was it a tissue box .. i think it was both ^^

A whale :)
kekeke this is just a test to see if i can post piccies onto my blogger via my mobile. SUCCESS.
It's quite easy if you have the app on your phone. This is how i did it.
1. Go to the picture you took then click send and there is an option of sending via blogger.
2.You click that then it posts it to this mobile blog and they then text you with a claim code.
3. Go to http://www.blogger.com/mobile-start.g and enter your claim code and then it should direct you through merging your mobile and blogger together. xD
If it doesnt work then.. err... i don't know ^^ Keke
Now i can bombard my blogger with piccies i take my with camera. YAY
Anyway back to my whale, it's this new type of bread i'm loving its very crunchy. I love it toasted and then with butter and honey. The fact each slice reminds me of a whale is an added bonus woot.
xoxo Winnie

Today i went grocery shopping at this new supermarket downstairs from where i live. It's really big!! It's so big it took me 5 minutes to realise that they didn't sell strawberry clouds and then another 5 to find the honey.
Sigh they say supermarkets are all organised in a similar format for consumers to find things easily but i seem to never be able to walk into the right aisle on my first time. I guess i'm not just a pro grocery shopper ^^ I guess i'll leave that to my mummy. I love you mummy.

Hm when you take pictures do you look like what you do everyday? Because i know when i look in the mirror what i see myself as isn't the same as the girl in piccies.
Is it the fringe? Or am i delusional?

Hmm what qualities does society value nowadays?? Writing my applications for scholarships has made me think... does society only value traits such as leadership, communication and teamwork? When we apply for a job will they only care if you will respond correctly to a situation or just be able to lead a bunch of incapable people???
What happened to trust, honesty, faith. respect and empathy? These qualities are hard to find in people these days. Have they lost the importance they once held in society?

My blog has been a bit dead lately opps. I've been thinking maybe each day i can post a random thought i've had that day. I have many a day and most people know about it because i have a habit of talking to myself or just exclaiming random things. But they usually disappear from my mind within milliseconds so... by recording one, one a day (hopefully) maybe i can look back in the future and think about how weird i was or maybe i can capture some kind of moment in my life which then could lead onto something else awesome.
You know I've always thought that the x in xoxo represented the arms within a hug and the o represented the lips within a kiss. But apparently according to online source and Wiki (hehe) i am wrong.
In fact the x represents the four lips in a kiss and the o represents the arms around someone in a hug.
So isn't that a newsflash for me?? Did anyone else make that mistake??
xoxo Winnie
