Obsessions

Over the years i have been influenced by a few aspects of the asian culture. In my junior years there was anime and the tvb phase. My junior years also marked the start of one of my longest and ongoing phases, Kpop.

From each phase i have singled out special guys to obsess over. Today as i was watching 'Mysteries of Love,' i had an epiphany, if you could call it that. I realised each guy i liked, made me appreciate different aspects of people and contributed to my ever growing 'ideal boyfriend' list.

First was Hyesung from Shinhwa

I think he influenced me in that i began to like/appreciate more feminine guys. I admired his talent and the music Shinhwa and he produced.

U-Know Yunho of DBSK

In variety shows and other activities he did with DBSK he gave me the impression that he was a very caring, considerate and responsible person and who doesn't like that? Of course you can't discount his dancing and singing ability. Oh and he is eyecandy!

Raymond Lam~ He is handsome, talented, smart, seems chivalrous and rich. Must i say anymore?

Last but not least *drum rolls*

My latest obsession: Kevin Woo from U-Kiss.

He is so cute. He is the most adorable guy i've ever seen. Many people tease me saying that i like girly men or just plain 'girls' but i really see no problem with pretty guys. Kevin and other more feminine looking guys i've liked e.g. Heechul Lee Junki helepd me appreciate the more feminine characteristics of men ie. the caring, sweet, innocent and nurturing side.

I don't claim to know these people in real life and maybe they are nothing like what i think they are in reality (not that i haven't been wrong before) but its the impression they give me, that counts. I can learn to appreciate those qualities in males even though the people above may be nothing like it.
